Where the weight goes
These are pressure maps of a tire's contact patch: the part of the tread touching the ground. Red is high pressure, blue is low.
Parked straight on the floor, the load presses hard into the tread blocks. In a FlexiGel cradle it spreads over a wider patch and the pressure stays mostly blue.

Standing still, each tire carries a quarter of the car on one small patch, for weeks or months. The rubber sets in that shape. A FlexiGel cradle spreads the load, so the gel gives way instead of the tire.
